Some things surprise me.
Like when, in the middle of the day, on a camping trip, my brother says “ Get in the truck, I’m going to show you some daisies. There are a lot of them, you’ll probably want to bring your camera.”
And then he drives down a logging road until he finds the spot. It would surprise you too if you knew my brother.
Or maybe not, because in other ways, it doesn’t surprise me at all. It reminds me of my dad. That is very much something he would have done.
It’s funny how often I see my dad in the actions of my brothers.

I was too very surprised when he had said "go and get Mary I will show you girls some wild diasies!!
And you will love them!"
